  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • Shaved chocolate and fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter and mix with sugar until well combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until smooth.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely.
  7. Meanwhile, heat heavy cream until just boiling, then pour over chopped chocolate. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth to make ganache.
  8. Spread ganache over cooled brownies, then chill for at least 1 hour for the ganache to set.
  9. Garnish with shaved chocolate and mint leaves before serving.
