- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- Shaved chocolate and fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and mix with sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until smooth.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Meanwhile, heat heavy cream until just boiling, then pour over chopped chocolate. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth to make ganache.
- Spread ganache over cooled brownies, then chill for at least 1 hour for the ganache to set.
- Garnish with shaved chocolate and mint leaves before serving.
Notes
- Ensure brownies are completely cooled before applying ganache for a clean finish.
- You can add a sprinkle of sea salt on top for enhanced flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
