- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter, chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until fragrant and onion is translucent.
- Add tomato sauce, garam masala, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet, stir in heavy cream, and cook for an additional 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels according to your preference.
- For extra creaminess, add a splash more heavy cream.
- Best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
