- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent dough and cut into 12 triangles.
- Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Spread about a teaspoon of cream cheese mixture on each triangle.
- Place a few cranberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the point, forming a crescent shape.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Can substitute fresh cranberries with dried cranberries soaked in hot water.
- For a sweeter variation, add a drizzle of honey before baking.
