- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/2 cup (60g) brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for filling)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 2-3 teaspoons milk or lemon juice (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together butter and granulated sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add flour, cinnamon, salt, and mix until combined to form a dough.
- On a floured surface, roll out dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Mix brown sugar and additional cinnamon for the filling. Spread evenly over the dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly from the long edge to form a log. Slice into 12 even rounds.
- Place slices on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk or lemon juice to make a glaze. Drizzle over warm cookies.
