- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix (or homemade spices)
- 1 sheet refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water as per packet instructions. Simmer until thickened. Allow to cool slightly.
- Roll out crescent dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into rectangles.
- Spread garlic butter mixture over the dough rectangles, then place a spoonful of cooked beef on each. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Roll up the dough around the filling, sealing edges. Place seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbly. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to swap ground beef for chicken or plant-based protein for variations.
