- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit until frothy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg; knead until smooth.
- Cover dough and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a ball and flatten slightly. Mix garlic with melted butter and brush over each roll.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon cheese into the center of each and fold dough over to seal slightly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or herbs to the garlic butter.
