Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional for extra flavor)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and grate the potatoes, then squeeze out excess moisture with a clean towel.
- In a large bowl, combine grated potatoes, shredded cheese, flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into small balls or patties about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the puffs lightly with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Place the puffs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- Ensure excess moisture is squeezed out from the potatoes for crispy puffs.
- For extra crispiness, spray with more oil and avoid overcrowding the basket.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 3-5 minutes until crispy again.
